Aberffraw biscuits - Ginger Shortbread

This delicious type of shortbread biscuit is called the Aberffraw biscuit and is said to originate from way back in the 13th century on Anglesey.  This ginger flavoured shortbread is made in the shape of a scallop shell, using good quality butter, flour, sugar with crystallised and ground ginger - giving the shortbread a warm gingery taste.
